I created this sun hat with the beach in mind!  The straw is panama and I kept the brim length as wide as I could.  They are averaging between 5" and 6" for maximum sun protection.  The edges are finished with a flexible wire, allowing you to shape as needed for shade.  Each one has a grosgrain ribbon edge and band with straps that can be tied under the chin for a true Edie look or knotted under the hair in back to secure it against any beach breezes.  When traveling with a sun hat, I recommend tying the straps to the outside of your tote bag so it has some room to breath.

This version is blocked out of an all black and cream pattern panama straw with a black  grosgrain ribbon trim.  If you want to stand out in the sun, this hat is it.  The head size is around 22 3/4" but this can be adjusted before shipping.
