If you ever get frustrated at the muddy, foggy and dark tone you produce when you roll back the volume control, adding a treble bypass to the volume pot retains the high end frequencies when the volume is decreased resulting in a cleaner, rounder sound.
This enables the signal's treble to bypass the pot and go straight to it's output.
Simply cut the capacitor leads to length and install between the input and output lugs of your guitar's volume pot.
An extremely effective yet low cost mod to any electric guitar.
